In May 1932, Albert Londres had entrusted him to the steamer which brought him back from China, just before dying in the fire of the boat: his investigation into drug trafficking was dynamite. What could he have discovered? At the time, this traffic spread over all the continents, but there was a place where it was concentrated in the hands of a single and unique organization: French Indochina and the Régie de l'opium.
